A birth doula is a trained professional who provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period. While I don't provide medical care, I'm there to help you feel informed, supported, and confident as you navigate your birth. Whether it's offering comfort measures, supporting your partner, or helping you understand your options, my role is to support your choices every step of the way.

My support begins during pregnancy with prenatal visits to help you prepare for birth. During labor, I provide comfort measures, encouragement, guidance, and support for both you and your partner. After birth, I stay for the first couple of hours to help you settle in and answer any immediate questions.

Absolutely! Many families choose to combine both services so they receive continuous support while also preserving the story of their baby's birth. Because I'm experienced in both roles, I can support you while documenting your journey.

Your privacy is important to me. I only share images with your written permission, and you are always welcome to keep your gallery completely private.

The earlier, the better! Most families book during the second trimester, but I welcome inquiries at any stage of pregnancy. Availability is limited each month, so reaching out early gives you the best chance of securing your spot on my calendar.

I support hospital, birth center, and home births, as well as planned inductions and cesarean births (when permitted back in the OR). Every birth deserves compassionate, personalized support.

Yes! My role isn't to replace your partner, it's to support both of you. I help partners feel confident, involved, and equipped while allowing them to focus on being present with you.

Once labor begins, we'll stay in contact by phone or text. I'll plan to join you when contractions are regular, about 5 minutes apart, lasting around 1 minute each for at least an hour, or sooner if you need additional support.

I intentionally limit the number of clients I take each month so I can provide each family with the attention, availability, and on-call support they deserve.

Yes! I believe quality birth support should be accessible. I offer flexible payment plans, as well as discounts for repeat clients, students, military families, and families experiencing financial hardship. If cost is a concern, please don't hesitate to reach out.

While it's very uncommon, emergencies can happen. If I'm unable to attend your birth, a trusted backup doula will step in to ensure you still receive compassionate, uninterrupted support.

I'll reach out within 24–48 hours to answer any questions and schedule a complimentary consultation. This gives us the chance to get to know each other, talk about your hopes for birth, and make sure we're a good fit before moving forward.
